This is a really important step. I've actually been thinking this for a while. Gay groups need to work together with religious organizations if either of us are ever going to get anywhere. I've seen a lot of hatred from some christian groups aimed at gays.

I know that I'm disappointed. I saw and liked both movies, but Crash definitely did not have the effect on me that Brokeback did. Plus, Crash felt like it was trying too hard to push the message that racism is unacceptable.

I doubt it has anything to do with ratings. I'm taking a course right now that focuses on some of these issues. Right now, in the class, we're talking about media's affect on children.

I wonder how they're dealing with strong winds at those altitudes. It seems to me that because of weather, the ballons would be blown quite a bit from the areas they're supposed to service.

You know... I don't understand this idea of "abstinance solves all". Of course abstinence is the only way to prevent the spread of HIV and other diseases, but it's just not practical to say "Hey, entire world.

I'm glad that this is just a rumor. Digg is an amazing news site and I really would be disappointed if Yahoo and Digg did take this route, mainly because I would be worried that Digg's operations would be disrupted and the site would change for the worse.
